Some strengths of the task was the ability to organise actors and props.	Some weaknesses of the task included proper video to be used as the green screen background, writing a proper script and use of camera angles.

What did you learn from doing this assessment task? (skills, life lessons, words etc.) From completing this assessment task, i learnt that having varying camera angles in the mockumentary makes it interesting and keeps the viewer focused on the video.

How do you feel about your final product?
I feel that my final product has some areas that could be improved on. ie) The collector in the background, the stuttering in the video and the overall quality of the video.

If you could do this task all over again, what would you do differently/the same?

If I could do this task again, I would make sure that the overall sound and video quality was perfect, the frames cut in and out at the right time and that the video used for the green screen features the collection only.

Did you enjoy this assessment task? Why or why not?

I enjoyed this assessment task because it enabled me to see sides of friends that I normally wouldn't see and interact with. It also showed how peers and others acted around cameras filming them. 

What would you improve for your final product for next time?
Improvements for the final product for next time would be improving the overall sound and video quality, ensuring that the frames cut in and out at the right time and that the video used for the green screen features the collection only and does not include the collector.

2. Do you see her as a typical collector?  Explain why/why not. I see her as a typical collector as I think that she is someone that only collects items that appeal to her.

Find two different collections on Lisa Congdon’s blog and make up a fictional collector profile of a person who could have been the collector of each collection. i.e. pretend you don’t know that Lisa Congdon owns the items and invent someone who could be the owner. Complete two collector character profiles, one for each collection.

Age: 67

Gender: Female

Occupation: School teacher

Her interest in the collection started when she was a young girl, her Grandfather had saved up some money and had bought her a typewriter second hand for her 10th birthday. To her, the collection is a deeper message and pays tribute to her late grandfather. Being a collector hasn’t had any negative or positive impacts on her and her family's life. The collector likes to believe that she has control over her collection and that it’s not an obsession.

Age: 43

Gender: Male

Occupation: “professional gambler"

His interest in his collection started when his dad took him to see a world championship poker game. Although, he was never interested in winning poker games like his father, he enjoyed collecting cards. Every year, he buys his dad a pack of cards, the same ones that his dad bought him when he took him to the Championship game. Being a collector has had a positive effect on his life. When his friends want to have a poker night, they go to Jimmy’s house because Jimmy always has a pack of cards lying around. The reason why he collects these cards is to remember to good time that he had with his dad. Jimmy does admit that he does have a compulsion over collecting these cards.

Benedict: The varying viewpoint in each of the photos reveals more about their story. I like the low viewpoint as it shows where the plants have been placed and it is highlighted by the buildings behind it.

Aaron: I like how the collector is displaying snow globes that have snow in them and to create a "cold" feeling, the collector has put on winter clothes. I also like the varying viewpoints, I think that it allows the audience to see more of their collection.

Photoshoot Concept

last Saturday, I didn't have much time, so there will be more photoshoots with different angles, heights, zooms and lenses. But theoretically, the final product of the 4 photos will look similar to this. This effect was achieved by taking 4 photos of 4 different sections, then placed in the correct order. This style is difficult because the subject must remain completely still for you to take the photo and move the camera tripod to the other quarters of the subject. 

1st photoshoot attempt

The first three photo's have different brightness, focus and blur. They were the best photos that I took in the 8 minutes that I had at his house.
